You want reports, you want dashboards, but what you really want is data that you can use to make informed decisions! The problem is it is difficult to articulate what kind of data visual would best inform your needs--so you often end up with a big report or an Excel spreadsheet full of columns and rows.  There must be a better way!
In this session, we will focus on effectively requesting and presenting data. With the goal of reducing the noise, improving user adoption, and turning data into information that you can use to make effective decisions.
Learning Objectives: • Why is data visualization important? • How does the human brain & eye interpret data? • Choosing the right visualization type • Telling a story with the data
